We have finite energy.
Human nature will go for the new, shiny, and attention grabbing.
To be great at something requires most of your daily energy.
You must overcome the natural human temptation to chase the new.
A general rule:
You’re not really making priorities, if it doesn’t hurt.
You can’t be a CEO and write the great American novel at the same time.
Although each one may call to you at different days.
This is human nature’s frailty to the novel.
Realize this and start making the tough decisions.
