Realize that your goals are everything.
What you want out of relationships, your work, and yourself.
Any other things: distractions.
Temptations will pop up daily.
Social validation, anger, or frenzy.
They will seem like you’re making progress on something.
But on what?
If it’s without intention, it’s essentially wasted time.
Return to your core goals.
Ask yourself: “are my actions directing me to your goal or not?”
The answer is usually clear and simple.
If acting on it proves difficult, realize that you’re running away from what you want.
To chase something you want for the fleeting moment.
