Running is More than About Your Health

I run every morning before work.
I picked up running because of my health.
But now it serves for so much more. 

It’s my training ground for mental toughness.
A ritual where my mind is telling me “Quit!” daily.
Yet I keep going.

That win over my inner voice is powerful.
It carries on throughout the rest of my day.
It gives me momentum for confronting the tougher challenges in life.

Yet even if I give up too soon in those challenges.
I get a daily chance to succeed.
When I put on my running shoes in the morning.
