Avoid Short Expensive Trips

It is common to spend vacations and money by going away.
But what are you getting away out of it?
If it wasn’t an item in your checklist would you do it?

Instead, exclusively do the things that bring fulfillment.
See your family, do the work you love, walk without emails popping up.
Or if you’re sick of your job, use that time to prepare for a life of doing the work you love.

You only have a limited amount of time, so be stingy.
When spending your time and money looking at aesthetic buildings you’re setting yourself back.
You’re promising that you’re going to go back to the same life for the rest of the 51 weeks of the year.
That’s a sad thought.
Forgo praise and start thinking and investing in what makes you light up.
