Negative feelings come from unrealistic expectations.
If someone cheats to get ahead, we get angry at a break from morals.
We say to ourselves: “Can’t he clearly see that what he’s doing is wrong?”
There is a moral ideal that has been transgressed.
Realize that although the person may done wrong you are doubly wrong for expecting otherwise.
Although we strive to live for our ideals, the human animal will always tend to go back to it’s base instincts.
It acts on it’s own incentives, it’s envious, lazy, and impatient.
To be otherwise, is the exception not the rule.
Once you accept this totally, without judging, you can begin to work with others and avoid the daily conflicts.
Learning to see the human drama unfold from a higher level.
